Mira don't hesitate go watch Gulam and The Rising. Rani should not be the reason for you not to watch these movies. Yes Gulam is inspired from Ellia Kazan's 'All Quit At Waterfront' but that shouldn't be a problem, it will be interesting to watch Aamir to relive the role the Great Marlon Brando played with his mumbling dialogue delivery. As far The Rising is concern, much criticism has been harped on this movie and some of are justifiable too but then it’s a better work than most of Hindi movies which are made. Here for you @Majgon...the movie which Konkana Sen is sharing with Rani is called 'Laga Chuneri Mein Daag', and post review tells that its an author backed role for Rani were she essayed the journey of a Kothewali from Banaras to New York. Rani is good may be not brilliant as she needs a strong role and good handling from the director to give her best. But Konkana Sen is brilliant, so far she never faulted with her performance. And yes Vidya Balan is a classic Indian beauty and very expressive face to come up with all kind of pathos and jubilation. I think in coming 5 years she will be top in her field
