Well I am still racking my brain to remember a role where he has acted as a Christian! As far I remember he played the role once as a Muslim in 'Earth' by Deepa Mehta. As far PRIEST role is concern he can be any Priest of any religion, its up to the director to decide in which religion he is comfortable to handle this story of Thorn Bird.
